Understanding Corruption in CPS
Corruption within CPS is not limited to a few isolated incidents; it is a widespread and systemic issue. This corruption often takes the form of falsified reports, bribery, and conflicts of interest, all of which undermine the integrity of the child welfare system. When those responsible for protecting vulnerable children prioritize personal gain over their duty, the entire system is compromised.
Undermining Child Welfare
The hidden truth about CPS is its vulnerability to corruption, which is often driven by financial incentives. The system is heavily influenced by funding formulas that reward states based on the number of children in foster care. According to the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, counties can receive between $41,821 and $198,933 per year for each child in foster care, creating a perverse incentive to remove children from their homes rather than providing the support necessary to keep families together.
This financial motivation leads to a corruption of the system’s integrity, where the focus shifts from the well-being of children to the financial gain of the institutions involved. When caseworkers are influenced by personal interests, whether through bribery, conflicts of interest, or a desire to meet certain quotas, the very foundation of child welfare is compromised. This manipulation of the system prioritizes profit over the protection of children, leaving vulnerable lives at the mercy of those who view them as mere commodities.

This is so true! Something has to change! This corruption HAS to be stopped for the sake of the innocent children and the families they are being ripped away from! I personally have met at least 30 families that have had their children taken from them and sold off to strangers. One person’s children were placed in an abusive foster home where the foster parent put dog leashes on the children and made them walk on all fours like dogs in Walmart or grocery stores. This is child abuse! Another person’s children were placed in a home with a woman who was on record as being single but had a live in boyfriend who had a teenage son who would touch the foster girls inappropriately. When the parent notified the CPS worker about the abuse of their children they were told that their children were liars and they only say things like that because they know it will upset the parent. After that the parent’s “privilege” of walking their children to the foster parents car to say their goodbyes was taken away because the parent”spoke badly “about the foster parent. Cps would cancel visits and then tell the children that their mother didn’t want to see them & that’s why they didn’t get their visit and in court CPS lied under oath and said the mother had missed several visits but the mother had photos of her children on the same visiting days they claimed she didn’t show up. The judge already was biased due to her husband being the head of the sheriff’s office and her uncle being the lead district attorney because the father of the children was incarcerated at the time. The judge violated the law by hearing the case and she should be removed from the bench! The judge told the mother on the day she stripped the mother of her parental rights that her children were all such beautiful children, they were all well mannered, they had no physical, mental or learning disabilities and had the nerve to tell the mother “Your children are very adoptable children”. Now, apparently the judge was not that intelligent because if she was then she would know without a doubt, after seeing this mother’s children’s manners and their overall well-being, that they were loved and taken care of by their mother. They were not children who were in an abusive household where their lives were in danger in any way. Now in some cases children need to be removed because their lives are in danger, but what good does it do to take them from one dangerous environment and place them in a worse one? Several children have been placed with in homes with pedophiles or people who physically or verbally abuse the children.
