Casa/Gal Federal Funding Terminated

Corruption
Thank god. SEATTLE, Wash.–On April 22, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) issued over 360 notices of termination of federal grant awards. National CASA/GAL was one of the organizations that received notices. According to the notices, the three grants to National CASA/GAL are being terminated because they “no longer effectuate the program goals or agency priorities,” which includes “protecting American children.” Since that is in fact the mission of the CASA/GAL program, we strongly disagree with the decision to terminate the grants. The U.S. Congress, through the annual appropriations laws, has funded the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program for more than 30 years. This loss of funding impacts the training, technical assistance and subawards to member programs across the country. Without these funds, the work of CASA/GAL programs across…

Whistleblowers Reveal CPS Child Kidnappings in Kentucky Adoption Business

Corruption
by Health Impact News Staff In 2006 and 2007 investigative reporter John Boel exposed much of the corruption taking place in the “child protection” system in Kentucky. His reports were broadcast in the local media at that time, and included some amazing interviews with former CPS whistleblowers, documenting the depth of the alleged corruption within Kentucky CPS. In a report aired originally on WLKY Target 32 News, news anchors begin the story by explaining that the station had to go to court just to get permission to air their investigative report, because the State of Kentucky attempted to censor their report from the public. Reporter John Boel states that they were “being swamped with complaints” against CPS in Kentucky. He explains that his report gives an “in-depth look” into Kentucky…

Family Court Is a Pipeline of Exploitation—Not Justice

Corruption
Family Court Is a Pipeline of Exploitation—Not Justice How I Was Intimidated, Manipulated, and Nearly Broken by a System Designed to Destroy Families I Didn’t Step Into a Courtroom. I Stepped Into a Trap. I used to believe Family Court existed to protect children and resolve parental disputes fairly. I thought judges were neutral. I thought attorneys worked for you. I thought evidence mattered. I was wrong. Family Court isn’t broken. It’s functioning exactly as designed—a pipeline engineered to extract money, destroy families, and profit from the suffering of children. And once you’re inside, the goal isn’t resolution. It’s submission. Read more: Click Here

The Five Streams of Child Support Corruption: How Title IV-D Turned Families Into Funding Pipelines

Corruption
Let’s talk about what no one in the mainstream media wants to touch: how the government turned family breakdown into a billion-dollar incentive machine—and how parents are trapped in what looks less like a justice system and more like a debt collection racket in a government costume. After I published my last article on family court abuses and the death of the American family, I received a response from someone I’ll simply call an anonymous legal researcher. What they shared completely blew me away. It wasn’t just a comment—it was a full exposé. This reader laid out, in painstaking detail, the five major funding streams that make up the core of the Title IV-D child support enforcement industry—yes, industry. Read More: Click here

The State Sanctioned Kidnapping Industry: How CPS and Its Allies Profit from Destroying Families

Corruption
CPS profits from family separation, turning child welfare into a billion-dollar industry where courts, agencies, and service providers cash in on every removal. It’s a racket that must end. Child Protective Services (CPS) and its various counterparts—such as the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), the Department of Family Services (DFS), the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and other similarly named agencies—operate under the guise of protecting children. In reality, these agencies have become an industry unto themselves, profiting off the removal of children and the destruction of families. Every child taken from their home represents a payday for the state, foster care agencies, court-mandated service providers, and an entire network of professionals whose financial survival depends on keeping the system running. The Trump administration’s call for a funding freeze could total hundreds of billions of dollars, with sweeping impacts on social safety net programs serving children and families. Under threat: child protection and juvenile justice, private foster family agencies, homeless shelters and nonprofits providing foster care services.
